Membership is not a civic organization or a benefits program.
It is a Biblical value found in 1 Corinthians 12: "Now you are the body of Christ and individual members of it" (1 Corinthians 12:27). We are called to be functioning members, whether we're an "eye", an "ear", or a "hand".

As functioning members; we give, we serve, we minister, we evangelize, we study and we abide in Christ, daily. We seek to be a blessing to others knowing that "if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it" (1 Corinthians 12:26).
