Tithing
Tithing is an act of worship as we put God first in our finances.
Generosity is one of our core values here at Island Church; It is truly better to give than to receive. We give because God first gave to us. Tithing 10% of our income is a Biblical principle where the Lord even says, "put me to the test".
"Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need." - Malachi 3:10

Accountability
Our Elder team is made up of staff and non-staff members and has leadership oversight of the annual budget where they discuss and pray over it regularly. This team takes great care in being great stewards and generous givers.
Generosity
We are a church of great generosity. Not only do we believe God for great financial provision and blessing but we love to BE a blessing. We give regularly to local outreaches, international missions and many other opportunities as the Lord directs.
Transparency
At Island Church we have a team of non-staff members gifted in the area of finance regularly reviewing the granular accounting of our expenses and annual budget. We also use an outside firm to handle all accounting which provides another layer of accountability, support and guidance. An annual report is reviewed with the full church family every year and granular information can be provided to members upon request.
