Prophet Emmanuel Amoah from Ghana, West Africa, has been a friend of Island Church since 2003. His gifting and insights have brought revelation and encouragement to us. Every year in Ghana, he hosts an Apostolic and Leaders conference to encourage and equip leaders of Churches.

Ghana wells
Through our relationship with Prophet Emmanuel, we have an open door to the incredible opportunity of sowing into the ministry of providing wells to people who have never had clean water in the remotest places of the Upper West and East area of Ghana. Because of the generosity of the people of Island Church, we have completed 30 wells, 6 more are in the pipeline and 5 more are in planning stages. Each well costs $5,000
Calvary Redemption Church - Kumasi, Ghana
In 2003, the people of Island Church raised $110,882 to support Prophet Emmanuel Amoah and his church family build their church in Kumasi, Ghana.
Romania
Summer Mascim
Summer Mascim has an amazing ministry to the poorest of the poor in Romania, where they run a weekly soup kitchen for children, host after school programs and care for so many in need. In 2016, the people of Island Church raised $140,325 to help build their ministry facility.
Summer is the daughter of Jon and Paulette Staab who are members of Island Church. Jon also serves on the Island Church Elder team.

Senegal
Kevin & Bonnie Oberg
Kevin & Bonnie Oberg served at Island Church for three years as youth pastors prior to going to Burkina Faso and then on to Senegal, where they have served for many years.
They have seen God work amazingly in the villages with many becoming Christians.
We support them through the CMA Great Commission Fund.
Our regular giving keeps them in the field.
Kevin has recently accepted the position of developer of teams.

Dov & Olga Bikas
Israel
Dov and Olga Bikas serve in Israel where they help those caught up in drugs and sex trafficking, as well as overseeing a growing Russian congregation. They have opened up a couple of Rehab Centers, one in Haifa and the other more recently in Beersheba (the city of Abraham). Dov is a great evangelist and they are seeing the fruit for their labor.
China

The missionaries we support in China do a variety of things (English classes, working with professionals and university students, business projects) and are seeing great fruit from their labor with people committing their lives to Jesus. Island Church has sent several teams to China in the past to support and encourage the work there. Please pray for continued safety, provision and blessing of our missionary family in China.
